Boltonville Land Use Explorers!

BLUE logo

Conservation Day Camp for elementary school students in Newbury and surrounding area. A science-based learning approach that gives hands-on lessons in the importance of protecting land and water resources.

BLUE takes place at the Al-lens Farm, a working farm along the Wells River used as an outdoor classroom. Alice Allens writes: We've been hosting the BLUE Camp here at the farm since summer 2004. The Wells River section of the CVT is very much a part of the area that encompasses the BLUE Camp!

Activities take place during a two week summer camp, usually in July, and also throughout the year working together with schools.

BLUE is sponsored by the White River Natural Resources Conservation District. Call them for information on upcoming BLUE programs: 802/ 828-4493.
